What if you could make sense of your body….
Every day your brain is processing stress, responding to both emotional & physical stressors.
Your fight & flight mode is your automated response system that kicks in to decide if you are in danger or not. This could be as simple as processing the sensory information of meeting a new face or finding yourself in new surroundings. Your brain initiates changes based on how you’re interpreting what this sensory information means to you & how it makes you feel.
These responses can be affected by past experience, trauma, or your beliefs.
Since your unconscious mind is in control of memories & emotions & talks to you through your body via your nervous system, this can sometimes result in emotional or physical pain.
Over time, without attending to this, it can then run a hardwired loop cycle that often results in conditioned chronic pain patterns. You can find yourself overwhelmed by more symptoms which are your nervous systems alarms to the bigger problem….being the fire. Treating only the physical is like temporarily putting out the spot fires.
Getting your defensive mechanisms to put down the baseball bat takes someone experienced just as much in behavior as they are the body. It doesn’t always take as long as you might think to deactivate & discharge the nerve responses while unravelling chronic pain!!
My treatment experiences through consistently being exposed to the types of clients who have been everywhere & tried everything have allowed me to focus on tailoring a treatment strategy to fit the specific needs of each client. This can narrow the timeframe down to weeks based on reading the individual responses of the client, even on pain patterns decades old.
Working with the brain, understanding more about your nervous system & its triggers, is preventative treatment & the results are PROFOUND!
